President’s Spiritual Advisor Sees Bad Omen Around Election

The self-acclaimed spiritual advisor to President Akufo Addo and Founder and Leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, says he had seen a revelation depicting a bad omen.

In circulating videos, Owusu Bempah claims he saw a candle being snuffed out after it had resisted several attempts to be extinguished.

“I didn’t like revelation God showed me about the outcome of the 2020 elections…God revealed to m and I saw a candle. People were trying to put it but the candle would not go off. The people were finding it difficult to put off the candle but I realized the last person was able to put off the candle. In fact, I didn’t like that revelation and I’m not happy about how the last person was able to off the candle,” said Owusu Bempah who had claimed previously that President Akufo Addo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will win the 2020 Presidential elections..

He said, he will not make public the meaning of the bad omen, but will advise whoever is concerned to fortify themselves. “God gave me the understanding of the vision. I will not say anything about the meaning of that revelation but I will give the message to the right source so they can work on it,” he said.

Such dreams of candles burn out are often related to potential death. It is not clear whose death Owusu Bempah may have spotted “Spiritually”. Owusu Bempah has been popularly referred to as a prophet of doom, given the predominance of apocalyptic and death predictions in his so-called trances.

Meanwhile, Owusu Bempah has said it will be “Over my dead body” to see ex-President John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) win the 2020 Presidential race on Monday.

Meanwhile, another popular preacher, Pastor Mensah Otabile of the International Christian Gospel Church has advised his thousands of church members to be fluid in their political leanings and the choice of whom to vote for in elections and not be dogmatic about political party membership.

“Go beyond party names; go beyond party adverts, go beyond party slogans. Consider what each party has proposed. What have they put on the table?” He told his members last Sunday.

Mensah Otabil, has recently been cowed after he was fingered as one of the directors responsible for the wanton misapplication of customers deposits in the Capital Bank, which the Bank of Ghana (BoG) was forced to liquidate in 2018.
