The Traditional Council in Kwabenya, has reportedly threatened to burn down a house where homosexuals and lesbians recently held a meeting.

Public Relations Officer of the Traditional Council Nii Mensah Dza Nyomo l told journalists the meeting had occurred on Wednesday, and that that meeting was not the first by the LGBQI group.

Nii who is also the Kwabenya Musuku Manhene, lamented at a press conference by the Council that that lifestyle is an affront to the culture of the people of the area.

Meanwhile, the National Security Ministry is reported to have closed down another LGBTQI office at Tesano.

According to reports the office had been closed down today by a combined team of personnel from National Security and armed Police stormed the building and ordered its occupants out before putting it under lock and key.

Reportedly, the closure had been at the directive of President Akufo-Addo.

It is not clear how true the story is because the exact location of the building in Tesano is not revealed, neither are the identities of its sacked occupants.

The reported closure comes after the Catholic Bishops Conference had demanded that President Akufo-Addo shut down any such building.
