The National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammy Awuku, survived a car crash today, WhatsUp News has learnt.
The accident, reportedly occurred on the Ejisu-Konongo stretch of the road in the Ashanti Region.
His vehicle is said to have careened off course after another vehicle in a convoy that he was traveling in, ploughed into his.
The run-in vehicle was said to have lost control after it was crossed by a tricycle.
The NPP National Organizer was said to be on his way to Koforidua in the Eastern Region after he went to the Ashanti region to train Party Organisers and Volunteers ahead of the 2020 elections.
It is not clear if there were any injuries or fatalities.
