Akufo-Addo’s Pastor Reveals He Carries Firearms For Protection

Founder and leader of the Glorious Word Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has revealed he has a more trusty weapon of safety beyond the name of Jesus which he asks his congregation to trust in – a gun.

In an interview on Kingdom FM, the “Man of God” who is also the spiritual advisor of President Akufo Addo revealed his weapon is always loaded.

And to justify his ownership of a gun, he claimed that Jesus Christ encouraged his disciples in the bible to arm themselves with weapons.

“Jesus Christ admonished his disciples to get more swords for themselves; so Peter and John had theirs. So when a soldier attempted to arrest Jesus, Peter drew his sword, not to cut the ears of the soldier but his head. Jesus Christ then urged Peter to put his sword back to his strap, not to throw it away; so this proves that it was a good thing they were armed with swords,” he claimed.

A semi-literate Owusu Bempah also has a strange type of spiritual abilities that only prophesies mostly doom on certain people, including the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its current leader, John Mahama.

His doomsday prophecies recently landed him in huge trouble when he claimed to have foreseen the death of the Chief Imam, Shiekh Nuhu Sarubutu. The fear of a possible repercussion from angry Muslims forced him to hurriedly go apologize to the ageing Chief Imam.

Meanwhile, social media is already abuzz with questions as to which particular biblical quotation attributes the imperativeness of carrying deadly weapons, to Christ.
