There are four major activities on the Electoral Commission’s calendar of activities for the 2020 election before the actual voting on the 7th of December, 2020.
Whatsup News gathered that the Commission will exhibit the register in September, Transfer votes in October and distribute copies of the register to all political parties in November.
The EC will then hold special voting on the first day of December.
The exhibition of the register will be held from the 11th to the 18th of September, 2020. The Commission will then undertake the transfer of votes from the 24th to the 26th of October.
On the 6th of November, 2020 the EC will distribute copies of the voters register to all the political parties and then hold special voting for critical service providers like the Police and the Military on the 1st of December 2020.
Then on the 7th of December, 2020 the general public will vote in the Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
