Reports from the Ashanti Region reveals the shooting an unnamed middle-aged woman in a hotel room in Kumasi.
The Police Command in the region have reportedly begun investigations into the incident.
According to reports seen by Whatsup News, the incident happened on Thursday dawn at the Cedar Crescent Hotel in Kumasi where she and her boyfriend were reportedly lodging.
The attackers are currently unknown. How they traced the couple to their room is also a mystery that the police investigation team would be probing.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue while the boyfriend, who sustained injuries has also been admitted at the hospital, says Citi News.
