Funny Face Sentenced To Psychiatric Evaluation

Popular comedian, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro, alias Funny Face, is to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, following his erratic behavior in the past few months, with the latest episode happening over the weekend.

The District Court at Kaneshie, ordered the Police to send him to the Hospital after the comedian made his first appearance on Wednesday.

The court gave the order following a request by the police.

Funny Face during the hearings told the court that he had instructed his lawyers not to come to court because he was the architect of his own problems.

The comedian sounded suicidal in recent posts on social media, vowing to kill his ex-wife and mother of his children and taking his life.

He has been charged with threatening death to his ex-wife. His plea was not taken.

Apparently, a painful breakup from his ex-wife has had a toll on his state of mind. His ex-wife had reportedly been cheating on him while they were married. Later the woman reportedly accused Funny Face of not being good in bed.

Things recently took a turn for the worst when his ex-wife married the man she had allegedly cheated with while still married to Funny Face.

The comedian took to his social media platform to write a suicide note, telling his two kids he was dying as a hero and vowing to kill his ex-wife before ending his own life.

The court presided by His Worship Kofi Oheneba-Kuffour adjourned the case to the 10th of November 2021.
