NDC Fires NPP Mole Behind Alhajis Sinare’s Gun Running Allegation

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has sacked its Ayawaso North Constituency Chairman, Tahiru Ahmed after he was exposed as an alleged mole of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

A statement signed by Hon. Theophilus Tetteh Chaie, Greater Accra regional Secretary, said Tahiru’s dismissal was sanctioned by the Regional Executive Committee (REC) of the party.

“The Regional Executive Committee wishes to inform Party executives in the Region and all media houses to the effect that The constituency Chairman of the Ayawaso North Constituency Mr Tahiru Ahmed has been expelled from the party with immediate effect for breaching article 46 (8) of our party’s constitution. All party properties in his possession should be handed over to the Vice-chairman of the Constituency to act,” the statement said.

Tahiru has been accused to be a mole that the ruling party had planted within the Ayawaso North Constituency branch of the NDC to ruffle feathers.

An employee of NDC National Vice Chairman, Alhaji Said Sinare for eight years, Tahiru shocked everybody when he reported Alhaji Sinare to the Police for allegedly giving him AK 47 assault rifles to be distributed to party people in the Northern region.

Alhaji Sinare who has since responded to the Police invitation has written a letter to the National Chairman of the NDC, Hon. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, explaining that he had found out that the Ayawaso North Chairman of the NDC was an NPP mole.

And that upon finding out, he fired Tahiru immediately. This sack is what pissed off Tahiru to concoct the gun-running allegations against him.
