Fake Award Merchants Invade Ghana COVID Fund, Ministry Of Health, Others

Confident tricksters masking as UN Ambassadors may have compromised Ghana’s Health Ministry, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ghana’s COVID-Fund in the wake of the shocking conferment of fake UN awards to more than a dozen Ghanaians celebrities and politicians by one “Dr” KWAME FORDJOUR who claims to be a United Nations Ambassador.

Whatsup News has been finding out that late August 2020, the Ministry of Health with the collaboration, the National COVID-19 Trust Fund and the curiously the World Health Organisation (WHO) partnered with a group of opaque organisations claiming to be affiliated to the United Nations to organise theWorld Diplomatic COVID-19 Eminence Honours which awarded renowned Clinical Psychologist and Natural Therapist, Dr. Brown Osei Konadu and Kenneth Nana Kwame Asamoah, the acting National Chairman of United Progressive Party UPP.

The award scheme was organised by World Diplomatic Federation – (WODIF), Institute for Sustainable Environment and Public Health (ISEPH), and Rectitude International Mission (RIM). All of these organisations claim to be affiliated to the UN, but probe into their background shows that they were mostly founded by the well-known fraudster named Fauster Atta Mensah (now Professor John Vinzelts) who took Ghana by storm a few years ago with the fantastic claims that he was one of the few Ghanaians at NASA who had actually gone into space and had earned a Nobel Prize for his technological breakthrough-A robotic hand that feeds paralysed patients with coffee.

It is unclear how much this organisations had ripped-off the government agencies which feature prominently on their websites.

The latest award scheme fraudster, “Dr” KWAME FORDJOUR, (aka Dr. UN) is currently making a massive wave in Ghana, after he tricked several Ghanaians politicians and celebrities into his shady awards scheme called the Global Blueprint Excellence Award which was allegedly organised under the auspices of the United Nations and the Kofi Annan Foundation.

About twenty individuals and organisations were given prizes by Dr. UN for their alleged service to humanity. The award memorabilia hilariously consisted of Cocktail Shakers, golden horses, table decors, etc, presented as novel items that saw recipients virtually drooling over them.

To complete the facade, a fake UN-embossed backdrop was placed close by the recipients.

Among the recipients include: the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary, John Boadu, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament, Alban Sumana Bagbin, the National Coordinator of the ‘One District One Factory’ policy, Madam Gifty Ohene Konadu, popular radio presenter, “Captain Smart”, Popular Musicians, D Black, Sarkodie.

Others include The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Professor Ebenezer Oduro; the NPP Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako; the former Ashanti Regional Minister, S.K Boafo; popular TV anchors, Johnny Hughes and Berla Mundi, among several others.

Information gathered by Whatsup News indicates that Dr. UN who claims to have attended Harvard University was indeed a known fraudster in Kumasi, who disappeared into thin air, only to emerge years later with the elaborate scheme.

Similar outcomes have emerged for Fauster Atta Mensah who appears to have earned such influence as to frolic with the rich and powerful in Ghana.
