The spread of the coronavirus among Senior High Schools, barely a month after they were reopened for final year students to prepare for final exams continue to escalate.
Four schools in the Volta Region are the latest to record positive cases of the virus after ten students in the Central Region, were earlier today reported to have caught the virus.
Mawuli and Dabala SHSs have three cases each while Bishop Herman and Mawuko Girls have one, each.
Authorities of the schools who have confirmed this, have reportedly declined to comment further for fear of victimization by the government which has been quick close down all public institutions for fear of infections, but is virtually holding students hostage on campus.
Parents of these students are denied access to them while the Electoral Commission has started an exercise to register all of these students onto the new voters register being compiled.
Also, NPP Executives have shockingly started active partisan campaigns and brainwashing sessions for students on the campuses even though the law expressly forbids partisan politics on SHS campuses.
Meanwhile, the Volta Regional schools have caught Covid-19 following the Accra Girls SHS which was the first with eight cases. The Arch Bishop Porter Girls has also recorded at least one confirmed case.
Seven other schools in the Region, including St. Johns SHS, and Ahantaman SHS, have also confirmed cases.
