Kevin Taylor Dares Exposed ‘Kokonte Judge’ Kyei-Baffour

Controversial social media commentator, Kelvin Ekow Taylor has hit back at Justice Eric Kyei-Baffour saying he is not scared of the bench warrant issued for his arrest for describing the judge as corrupt.

However, Mr. Taylor insists that his revelations against the now Appeals Court judge were based on facts.
“I am going to respond to Judge Kyei-Baffuor. He wants to be Kwasi Appiah [former coach of the Ghana Black Stars] and at the same time he wants to be Kurt Okraku Mante [current President of the Ghana Football Association] and at the same time, he wants to be the referee. This is a new age. We are not going to feel intimidated…We are ready to speak truth to power,” he said during his “All Due Respect” programme on Thursday, January 17, 2020.

“Judge Kyei-Baffuor is not bigger than Ghana. He is not bigger than the other judges we have in Ghana. In fact, Judge Kyei-Baffuor is a problem to the CJ [Chief Justice]. He can decide to write all the English, summon all the cases against me. But the fact still stays that Justice Kyei-Baffuor is bending the rules. Justice Kyei-Baffuor is bending the rules,” he stressed.

Justice Eric Kyei- Baffour, a High Court Judge who has been fingered for corruption by social media commentator, Kevin Ekow Taylor, has issued a bench warrant for the arrest of the United States-based Kevin Taylor.

The warrant is for Taylor to appear before the court for what the aggrieved judge says amounts to contempt of court.

Mr. Tailor, on his video blogging platform earlier this week, revealed that Justice Kyei Baffour is a government hatchet man on a mission to jail the defendants in the NCA case by hook or crook.

According to Mr. Taylor, Justice Kyei Baffour, is also bending the law to have the accused found guilty because of a mission to help National Security Minister, Albert Kan Dapaah, get revenge on one of the accused whom he suspects of sleeping with his girlfriend.

Kan Dapaah allegedly feels deceived by a woman with whom he has kids, and believes that the children were in reality fathered by Eugene Baffoe-Bonnie, former Board Chairman of the NCA.

Baffoe-Bonnie is facing charges of causing financial loss to the State in the case that also involves William Tetteh Tevie, former Director-General NCA, Nana Owusu Ensaw, former Board member, Alhaji Salifu Mimina Osman, former Deputy National Security Coordinator, and Mr. George Oppong.

They are accused of causing financial loss of US$4million to the State over the purchase of surveillance equipment for the NCA. Ensaw, was in addition charged with stealing and money laundering.
