“Abronye DC is a Big Fool”-A Plus

The Founder of The Peoples Project (TPP) Kwame Asare Obeng, who is popularly called A-Plus, has unloaded on the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP)’s Bono Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe (Abronye DC) describing him as a fool.

In a Facebook monologue posted on his Facebook page, A-Plus wondered why the ruling party gives free rein to such “fools” in the party to represent them on talk shows on radio and TV.

“I don’t understand why this guy is so stupid,” A-Plus said in response to recent allegations made against him by Abronye DC that he A-Plus TTP was funded by ex-President John Dramani Mahama to the tune of GHC 800,000.

Abronye also alleged that President Akufo Addo once gave A-Plus GHC 300,000 to go woo musician Sarkodie to the NPP fold.

A-Plus said: “The fools go sit on TV and radio making wild allegations like Akufo Addo giving A-Plus GHC 300,000 to bring Sarkodie into the fold. Don’t you know making that allegation directly impugns on the integrity of Akufo Addo?”

“I don’t know why the NPP sends Abronye to Radio and TV stations as their spokesperson. This person is a fool. I don’t know if the party doesn’t see that this person is a fool?

According to A-Plus, the wise ones in the ruling party appear to have been overwhelmed by the folly of some section of the party and have resigned to their fate. “The wise ones in the NPP are just watching events unfold quietly. They sometimes call me not to mind them [the NPP communicators],” said A-Plus.

A-Plus has just set up TTP as a citizens’ pressure group to check the rampaging power that Ghana’s two main political parties have acquired in Ghana’s political landscape. TPP is positioning itself as a non-political third force to check the NPP and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

TPP has developed a 20-year plan and is rallying one million potential Ghanaian voters to call the shots on who wins elections in the country based on their acceptance of the 20-year plan.
