Akufo-Addo Presiding Over A Failed Presidency – CDG Fires

A group calling itself the Caucus for Democratic Governance, Ghana (CDG-GH) in a statement says after 32 months of careful research, observations and comparative analysis, it can conclude that President Akufo-Addo “is presiding over a failed presidency.”

The statement made available to Whatsup News and signed by Chief Convener, Dr. Hayford noted that the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government since its inception has recorded between 108 and 200 major high profile corruption cases that have crippled Nana Addo’s Government.

The group has computed the monetary value of these corrupt acts and says it amounts to an estimated GHC12 billion taxpayers’ money within 32 months of this government’s reign.

The statement went ahead to outline some of the effects of these corrupt cases on the Akufo Addo government.

The group says the Akufo Addo administration has become synonymous to corruption and that it is overseeing an economic mess and is “manipulating economic figures that are being exposed by the rising dollar rate and high National debt.”

The group also notes that the Government is causing thousands of job losses and unemployment, “with little or no attempt to create new jobs.”

The statement said instead of building infrastructure like roads, schools, hospitals, expand ports, airports among others to create jobs, the NPP administration is focusing on killing existing jobs.

The statement referred to the banking sector cleanup as a prime example of a systematic agenda to rid certain people of their fortunes in the banking sector.

It accused what it described as the “Akyem Mafia” packing government with cronies and are seeking to control the judiciary, the security agencies and take over critical state institutions.
