Akufo-Addo’s Daughter To Wear $70,000 Hairdo For Peduase Lodge Wedding As First

Family’s Extravagance Rivals Arabian Kings.

Following a traditional ceremony at the seat of government, Jubilee House, in October last year, President Akufo-Addo’s daughter, Edwina Nana Dokua Akufo-Addo, is gearing up for another abuse of power by staging her main wedding at the Peduase Lodge, the Presidential retreat facility on the Akuapem Mountains.

Ms. Edwina’s VVIP wedding is scheduled for today April 20, 2022, Whatsup News has heard.

Ms. Akufo-Addo’s project to be the vanity star of fairytale weddings in Ghana is said to be planned on a budget that starts with a whopping US$70,000 for hair coiffure alone, according to sources.

Reportedly, she specially ordered an expensive tuft of long hair from a celebrity hair boutique abroad for styling.

And for the spoils of it, the President’s daughter is said to be keen on ensuring that her nuptial beats all nuptials in Ghana for grandeur, pomp and circumstance amidst the contradictory signals from the Akufo Addo administration that Ghanaians must “tighten their belts” due to the economic downturn plaguing the country.

Already, a plush pre-nuptial party was held on Monday, April 18, 2022, in a coded location and an after-party of the main wedding is scheduled for the house of ex-President J.A Kufour.

This extravagance and the virtual appropriation of Ghana’s Presidential buildings into private family property is pissing off some people within the ruling party.

Meanwhile, insiders report on how Edwina Akufo-Addo is aiming to eclipse the expensive indulgences that made the wedding of real estate mogul, Kojo Jones, dominate the headlines for weeks.

Then there is the plan to turn the Peduase Lodge into a galaxy, where all the stars in Ghana, from show business, football and politics and mostly family and friends of the First Family will be invited down to witness Edwina Akufo-Addo Cinderella-like wedding with her beau, Kwabena Jumah.

Kwabena is the son of Maxwell Kofi Jumah, the foul-mouthed Managing Director of GIHOC Distilleries Company Limited.

Kofi Jumah is on record to have chided Ghanaians complaining about the high cost of alcoholic beverages to drink water instead.

Meanwhile, Whatsup News is learning that in the days after Edwina’s knocking ceremony at the Jubilee House, her husband-to-be has received many juicy state contracts from his in-laws at the Jubilee House (some details upcoming).

Meanwhile, Edwina herself has become inexplicably rich after her father became President and she is not shy at all about burning some of her cash. Reportedly, she is seeing her wedding as a fine opportunity to let money talk.

Her reported bid to outdo Kojo Jones, aka Emmanuel Jones-Mensah, a handsome Adonis from Dzelukope, Keta, who made Kumasi the cynosure of attention with his pompous wedding to his wife, Rachel, means Edwina is gearing up to surf quite a hill.

This is because Mr. Jones’ wedding paraded some of the most expensive cars from the stables of some of the sexiest automobile marques in the world, including a Cadillac convertible, G-Wagon SUVs from Benz and Range Rovers Rolls Royces.

However she does it, the President’s daughter will be spending big at a time that Ghana is going through a serious economic crisis, in the midst of which her father has imposed the controversial and thievish tax called e-levy.
