Ursula Owusu Being Considered For Running Mate – Kwesi Pratt reveals

Minister for Communications, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, is being seriously considered by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Running Mate in the 2024 elections.

This is according to the veteran journalist, Kwesi Pratt Jr. who made the revelation on Accra-based Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana talk show hosted by Dr. Randy Abbey.

 “She [Ursula Owusu] is a potential vice president,” Kwesi Pratt Jnr said after the host, Dr. Randy Abbey had wished the MP a happy birthday. 

Asked how he got such the information, Pratt replied, “The intelligence I’m gathering is that she is closer to that.”

According to Kwesi Pratt Jr., Madam Owusu-Ekuful is being positioned to partner with whoever wins to become the Presidential candidate of the NPP in 2024.

Ursula Owusu-Ekuful is notoriously saucy and has been fingered as tribally bigoted. She is on record to have said Northerners are only fit to look after cattle in the bush.

She has also described all non-Akans as strangers.

In April 2012, she received a beating at Ododiodiodioo, a constituency in the Ga heartland when she reportedly told Gas that they had sold off all their lands and therefore had no right to prevent non Gas from taking part in biometric voter registration there.
