President’s Prophet Curses Critics in Church with Anointing Oil

Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has fired a tirade of curses in church, asking for a wicked angel called Simiel to terrorise people who criticize him.

He names the targets of his curses to include US-based Ghanaian journalists Mr. Kevin Taylor of Loud Silence Media and one Kweku Skirt, who is a radio broadcaster and commentator.

Rev. Owusu Bempah also names Ghana-based radio broadcaster, Mugabe Maase, one Nana Sei, one Agradaa, Pepertual Donkor, Dominic and one B Jay as his targets.

“That Nana Sei, that Agradaa, Pepertual Donkor, and others, Dominic and B Jay, and you those on social media insulting me. And Mugabe and Kevin Taylor. I know they will come out and brag and Kweku Skirt, I know they will come out and say snub him, his actions are empty, my God, that is when they will know that we have a prophet of God on earth,” Owusu Bempah chanted

The cursing tirade had been accompanied with the smashing of bottles of anointing oil before his Odokor based church congregation which kept bellowing in approval of every curse he pronounced.

Flanked by his junior Pastors, Rev. Owusu Bempah invoked God himself onto a Cherub (Cherubim) saying anytime the Almighty sits on any of these four-headed angels, the people he is targeting should be cursed.

“Just as these bottles of oil crash into smithereens so will the lives, the bodies and wellbeing of those people be shattered,’’ Owusu Bempah decreed in Twi.

He added, “There are seven angels who stand before God – Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Boroviel, Zarakiel and Simiel. And as for Simiel, he is the wrath of God, the burning anger of God. Anytime God gets angry, Simiel is the one he sends. He is the angel who only visits with death. Simiel, visit these people.”

It is not clear if Simiel is one of the seven angels who stand before God as in Judeo-Christian tradition of angels, the seven archangels are listed as Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Selaphiel, Barachiel and Raguel.

“I summon these people to the burning anger of the Creator. Anytime God Almighty sits on a Cherubim, may his burning anger descend upon these people. Anywhere I stand and mention the name of God, let it turn into curses upon these people,” Owusu Bempah added.

He also proclaimed that whatever blessings are in the lives of the people that he is cursing he has exchanged them for curses for them and given their blessings to his church members, to which his congregation shouted a loud “amen.”

The man who has a reputation as the Spiritual Consultant for President Akufo-Addo warned that the curses he had pronounced were so powerful that whoever would be tasked to sweep the shards of broken glasses and the spilt oil in the church auditorium, would need to have their hands anointed seven times by a pastor before they sweep.

The same people are to anoint their hands seven times again after cleaning the church.

Already, the self-proclaimed prophet has faced criticism for his cursing as many on social media point out cursing is totally unbecoming of a supposed man of God.

Owusu Bempah has also been accused of using his office as a priest to perpetuate the current culture of silence that many complain about, with many pointing out that by doing what he did, he is trying to force critics to shut up about his issues even though he has made himself politically exposed by associating with President Akufo-Addo and the ruling NPP.
