Murderous Blood Money Teenagers Remanded

The district Court at Awutu Ofaakor in the Central Region has remanded the two teenagers who bludgeoned a 10-year-old to death with the intent of using his body parts for money rituals.

On Tuesday, Her Worship Rosemond Vera Ocloo immured Felix Nyarko, 16, and Nicholas Kiki, 18, into Police custody, to reappear on April 20, 2021.

The two who have been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit murder have already admitted the crime.

According to their own confession they had lured Ishmael Mensah into an uncompleted at Kasoa Lamptey under the guise of selling him a video game and then clobbered him to death with a club.

Their motivation was a juju man who had promised to turn them into overnight millionaires if they would only provide some human parts and a cash amount of GHC 5, 000 for rituals.

And the teenagers had encountered the spiritualist and his hocus pocus on national television, the court heard.

The body of the victim has been deposited at the Police Hospital Mortuary for autopsy while the Kasoa Divisional Police Command continues the investigation.

The Police have also launched a manhunt for the spiritualist who instigated the two teenagers to murder.
