Eight more people have succumbed to the Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) hiking Ghana’s death toll to 256.Also, 101 more people have tested positive for the virus. consequently, the country’s cumulative case count now stands at 43,094 confirmed cases.According to the Ghana Health Service website, 40,963 persons have recovered or have been discharged, so far.The active cases are 1,875. 16 are in a severe condition, six critical and three on ventilators.
For the regional breakdown, Greater Accra is still leading with 21,445 infections.
