Scandal At GRA As Commissioner-General, Commissioner SSD Sacked Over Fake Qualifications

A massive storm is blowing within the Ghana Revenue Authority where the two highest-ranking officials in its top brass have been reportedly sacked for faking their credentials to gain appointments into their current positions.
Acting Commissioner General, Rev. Ammishaddai Owusu-Amoah and Acting Commissioner in charge of Support Services Division (SSD), Ms. Julie Essiam, have been fired because the educational qualifications that brought them to the positions they occupy at the GRA are fake, Whatsup News gathered.
The Public Services Commission wrote to the Board of the GRA informing them that the Acting Commissioner General only has a Masters degree in Theology, a qualification that does not suitably qualify him to occupy the position of Chief Taxman.
In the case of the Acting Commissioner SSD, Ms Essiam, It is  revealed that she earned an HND as her only educational qualification, even though the position she occupies requires that at least she holds a Masters degree.
In addition to this, a first degree that Julie Essiam quoted in her CV is fake, according to the PSC.
The PSC, which manages public sector workforce has therefore notified the board to sack the two over their inadequate qualifications.
It is not clear if Ms Essiam, a beautiful former banker will be prosecuted for the alleged presentation of a fake degree.
Interestingly, on the GRA’s official website, the two are profiled in glowing words.  Rev. Amisshaddai Owus-Amoah is described as a man of, “about thirty years’ experience in Research, Corporate Banking, SME and Retail Banking, Strategic Leadership, Strategic Planning and Corporate Restructuring across Africa.”
He is also described as, a “former Group Head of Operations, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated.”
For Ms Julie Essiam, she is described as a “Graduate of Carnegie Mellon University Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.”
According to the profile, she is an, “expert in Trade Finance, Cash Management, Retail banking, Transformation Management, Human Resources, Public Affairs and Board member, Ecobank Zambia, and Ecobank Foundation.”
