Zlatan has been named as one of the ambassadors of Patricia, a cryptocurrency company with operations in Lagos, Nigeria.
“I am officially part of the evolution movement, the new face of Patricia, the biggest platform for digital assets,” Zlatan wrote on Instagram.
The endorsement deal was made official on 6 April by Patricia Technologies founder and CEO Fejiro Hanu Agbodje.
“We know what motivates our audience and users. It’s simple: incorporating social proof,” he said. “We are writing and telling our story, our way. The story of belief, growth and success from what it was to what it is now, and most importantly, for what it is going to become.
“Patricia’s mission is to change the world by providing innovative solutions for everyday problems, and at the same time to be a beacon of light to the youth; to help them understand that they can make something great out of their lives if they are willing to work for it.”
Zlatan is popular for ‘Zanku’, which is the soundtrack to the current dance craze of the same name across Nigeria. His other hits include ‘Bolanle’ and ‘Yeye Boyfriend’. In 2019, he was named Best Newcomer at the annual African Muzik Magazine Awards.
Other Patricia ambassadors include former Big Brother housemates Mercy and Tacha, comedians Lasisi Elenu and Crazeclown, content creator Ayo the Creator, US-based fitness trainer Sandra Benede and tech leaders Jackye and Omashola.
