New Vision Party Endorses Mahama

The New Vision Party (NVP) has joined the number of opposition parties that are endorsing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, for the 2020 election.

Today, the leadership of the party officially announced that they are throwing their weights behind the NDC.

Acting Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the party, Apostle Nana Kinsford H.L. Holm, told journalists today that the NVP has no reason to go into the 2020 race because its outlook and vision for the country is similar to that of the NDC and John Mahama.

He also said that voting out the Akufo-Addo government is a rescue mission.

“We are therefore using this platform to plead with all Ghanaians to join the rescue mission and vote massively for John Dramani Mahama to put this country back to the path of progress,” he said.

The NVP is the fourth opposition party to have endorsed President Mahama for re-election. Earlier, the EGLE Party, Democratic Peoples’ Party and the United Front Party (UFP) had all endorsed President Mahama.

According to Nana Holm, President Akufo-Addo is now going down history as the most corrupt President in the entire history of Ghana. According to him the President who won the 2016 election on a mantra of incorruptibility has turned out to be the clearing agent of corruption and the biggest enabler of same.

“Today, Ghana is ranked among the three most corrupt countries in the world under President Akufo-Addo. Today Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Manasseh Azure, Domelevo and the Citizen Vigilante Martin Amidu are all hiding in fear of their dear lives for exposing corruption under Akufo-Addo the mother serpent of all corruption,’ Apostle Hom said

He accused the government of borrowing and then stealing the money. He points out that John Mahama borrowed Ghc56billion and everybody can see what he has achieved with the money, however, Akufo-Addo has borrowed over Ghc140billion and has nothing to show for it.
