Former TOR Boss Splits From NPP, Forms Own Party

Whatsup News has picked up reports that Isaac Osei, the disgruntled former Managing Director of the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) may have split from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to form his own political party.

Mr. Osei who had to exit TOTR because of his alleged refusal to budge to cabals in the governing party forcing him to undertake underhand deals running into millions of dollars at the state refinery.

He has been nursing a presidential ambition for a while now and it is believed that he will be leading the new party as its flagbearer into the December 7, 2020 Presidential elections.

Isaac Osei is reportedly receiving backing from some top power brokers in the ruling party, including former Chief of Staff, Kwadwo Mpianim.

Several meetings have reportedly been held to shift the power dynamics in the ruling party.
