Zabzugu MP Accuses Minister Of “Stealing” His Project

The member of Parliament for Zabzugu in the Northern region, Hon Alhassan Umar has described the Ministry of Health’s data indicating the health facilities constructed by the current government as a deceptive orchestration  to throw dust into the eyes of the public.

Reacting to the media the Minister’s claims captured by  online media site,  ghanaweb.com, in respect of claims made by Hon Kwaku Manu Agyemang about Reproductive and Child Health Center in Zabzugu, he said the Minister’s claim that it was build by the current government is an insult to the truth..

“I used my  MP’s share of National Health Insurance Fund, and other resources to construct the Reproductive and Child Health Center ( RCH) in Zabzugu Township as my contribution to improve healthcare delivery in the constituency”.

“An attempt to smuggle my project which I personally sponsored and funded is an act of desperation on the part of the Minister and the Nana Addo led government”

“I wondered how the Minister and his officers could not differentiate between MP funded project from government funded project.”

“The Ministry should rectify the false impression created by the its data collection on health facilities constructed by this regime and apologize to the people of Zabzugu for deception” Hon Umar demanded.

According to him item  539, of the said Ministry data, was misleading and incorrect, because the said project was conceived, implemented, and executed by  the MP from scratch to finish.
