Celtic handed huge boost as Jeremie Frimpong returns to training

Scottish giants Celtic have been handed a huge boost following the return of Ghanaian youngster Jeremie Frimpong.

Frimpong has not featured for the Hoops since suffering an injury in their 3-1 win against Kilmarnock on January 22.

The 18-year-old right-back has however recovered earlier than the scheduled time.

He was was pictured at Lennoxtown with his team-mates as he was put through his paces.

Frimpong’s will be a huge boost for Celtic with the first leg of their Europa League last-32 tie against Copenhagen coming up next Thursday.

He has established himself as a fan favourite since joining the side on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City in the summer.
