Selective Nominations Rocking NPP -As another aspirant prevented from picking forms

The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) appear to be experiencing some queer selectivity as aspirants begin to pick up forms to contest both the Presidential and Parliamentary primaries.

The latest is Medical Doctor; Nana Yaw Boakye who was reportedly prevented from picking up the GHC 2,000 nomination forms for his parliamentary bid for Asokwa in the Ashanti Region.

Dr. Biakye’s visibly angry supporters who accompanied him to pick up his nomination forms suspected foul play when Ahinsan office of the NPP strangely locked when they were scheduled to pick up the forms.

The supporters insist the party office was opened earlier and was quickly closed when they got news that the Doctor and his supporters were on their way to pick forms.

“This clearly reveals how scared they are of Dr. Nana Yaw Boakye. If they were not afraid, they would open up for a fair contest and her works if any would speak for her” one Kwame Oduro, a supporter of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) doctor told the media in an interview monitored by Whatsup News.

Supporters of the party suspected that the doctor is being deliberately frustrated from contesting Patricia Appiagyei, the incumbent NPP Member of Parliament.

Supporters have blamed both the Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako and the constituency Secretary of Asokwa, John Asare Bediako, as the orchestrators of the tactics to frustrate the KATH doctor from contesting.
