Ken Agyapong Wants “Galamsey” Frimpong Boateng Out

Loudmouthed Member of Parliament for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) lawmaker, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has “begged” President Nana Akufo-Addo to axe the Minister for Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Prof. Kwabena Frimpong Boateng for failure and possible complicity in the illegal mining fight.

“As for “galamsey”, we have failed as a government and immediately the president must dissolve and withdraw both Galamstop and Operation Vanguard; they are feeding fat on the “galamsey” fight and soldiers are fighting to be in that team; the people that are in charge have disgraced the president, it is so sad and immediately he has to stop everybody, including the minister”, he said in an interview on NET2 TV monitored last Monday.

According to the controversial Ken Agyapong, he has evidence of rot in the Galamsey fight headed by Prof. Frimpong Boateng. This confirms earlier allegations by private whistleblowers an undercover investigators that Prof. Frimpong Boateng may be directly involved in illegal mining activities, contrary to his watchdog role.

Recently, the secret illegal mining activities of top officials of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM) headed by Prof. Boateng was exposed in a damning undercover investigation released mid-2019.

The investigators led by ace undercover journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas had set up a dummy company called Orr Resources to catch the Galamsey ring in a snare.
Since the airing of the explosive first part of Galamsey Fraud, Whatsup News gathered that pressure from powerful quarters within the government have been exerted on Anas Aremyaw to hold on to the release of the even more explosive second part.
Mr. Bissue has remained a Presidential Staffer since the incident which points at a deeper illegal mining mafia operating from the Jubilee House.
Charles Bissue was working directly under Prof. Boateng was made Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining (IMCIM) by President Nana Akufo Addo in March 2017.
