Inter Allies complete signing of ex-Ashantigold goalkeeper George Apronti

Inter Allies have completed the signing of goalkeeper George Apronti ahead of the start of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier season.

The former Ashantigold goalkeeper joins the Eleven is  to One lads on a free transfer after his stay with the Miners came to an end.

Apronti is very experienced on the local scene after spending most of his time in Obuasi with Ashantigold. He was a regular in the 2016/17 before his place was taken by veteran goalkeeper Robert Dabuo.

His arrival is seen as a major boost for Allies, who head into the season with several new recruits, most of whom are from lower tier sides.

“George has showed he’s a very good goalkeeper and we are excited that he chose to play for our Club,” Technical Director of the club Willie Klutse said.

“We look forward to his contributions ahead of our upcoming season,” he added.
