Bombshell! Kofi Boakye Allegedly Fingered In “Kitchen Knife Coup”

Information picked up by Whatsup News points to charismatic Commissioner of Police (COP) Kofi Boakye as being involved in the infamous “Kitchen Knife Coup”.

Another police officer, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Agordzo who was the Second in Command to COP Tetteh Yohuno when the latter was in charge of Police Operations has also been fingered in unconfirmed reports.

Details of this shocking turn of event are still sketchy, as reports indicate that one of the above-named officers have been picked up by a  combined team of National Security Secretariat and Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) operatives.

One of the police officers was said to cahoots with  the kitchen knife coupists who were busted in September with crude weapons which Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah claimed were intended to be used to unseat President Akufo Addo and cause destabilisation in the country.

According to reports picked up by Whatsup News, the top police officers named in the plot were traced when police experts examined the phones and other communication gadgets of the alleged masterminds: Dr Mac-Palm, Donya Kafui, alias Ezor, a blacksmith, and Bright Allan Debrah Ofosu, a freight manager.

COP Kofi Boakye who was strongly tipped as a potential Inspector General of Police (IGP) before the current IGP was appointed, has also been strongly linked as a potential running mate to the presidential candidate of one of the major political parties in Ghana.

Dr. Frederick Yao Mac-Palm, the Chief Executive Officer of the Citadel Hospital and his alleged accomplices were caged for treason a few weeks ago, as they await trial. Others named in the plot are military officers: Colonel Samuel Kojo Gameli, Geshon Akpa, Warrant Officer Esther, Lance Corporals Seidu Abubakar, Solomon Ali and Sylvester Akankpewu, they are all facing charges ranging from conspiracy to commit treason, treason, conspiracy to possess explosives, arms and ammunition as well as possession of explosives, arms and ammunition without lawful excuse.
