MOBEX Innovation Awards 2019 Celebrates Ghanaian Technology Champions

Over 50 Ghanaian technology entrepreneurs and businesses were honoured at the 2019 edition of the MOBEX Innovation Awards organised by Coasters Company Limited.

The honours cut across multiple sectors including Fintech, agribusiness, media and communication and health. H.E Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President, Republic of Ghana was adjudged the digital champion for the year 2019.

The Judging Academy is presided over by a Chief Judge, Prof. Nii Narku Quaynor an industry veteran. He is one of 3 judges for each category of the award after associate members have judged the first Round and shortlisting. The other members are of the Academy are Dorothy Gordon and Dr. Ayorkor Korsah.

The MOBEX Innovation Awards climaxes the 5th edition of the single largest
technology trade show in the West African sub-region which offers industry experts and giants, C-level executives, developers, policymakers, regulators, gamers, telecom operators, IT enthusiast, and governments an opportunity to deliberate on trending issues, the future of technology innovation and offer solutions and policies to shape and inform the growth of the digital economy.

The event is the leading regional recognition event that celebrates dynamic change-makers, solutions and innovation drivers across sectors and provides winners with global publicity, industry recognition and networking with peers and industry giants.

Several companies bagged various awards including the Margins Group whose CEO Moses Baiden picked up more than three awards for innovative solutions including Artificial Intelligence.
