In a statement, the party announces that the National Appeals Committee chaired by Mr. Dan Kweku Botwe, MP for Okere and Minister for Local Government, Decentralisation & Rural Development, will hear the petitions and appeals from disqualified or aggrieved aspirants.

According to the statement, Tuesday, May 24, was the deadline for the receipt and hearing of all such appeals and petitions by the committee.

The Bono Regional NPP Election Committee has disqualified two out of the 29 applicants who filed to contest in the upcoming regional elections.

The party says a total of 246 delegates are expected to vote in the elections.

The poll is scheduled for this weekend, beginning Friday, May 27, to Sunday, May 29, 2022, across the country.
