Ghana’s death toll from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has spiraled up to 763.
This is after nine (9) more people succumbed to the disease according to the latest update from the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
The update reported 84 new cases as well. It said active cases are 1,413.
Consequently, Ghana’s total confirmed cases have risen to 91,477, with 89,301 infected persons recovering from the virus and have been discharged.
Meanwhile, the fatalities are still occurring in spite of ongoing nationwide vaccination against the deadly virus.
According to the latest figures, some 742,349 Ghanaians have been vaccinated in the ongoing immunization exercise by the Ghana Health Service.
