President of New Edubiase FC, Abdul Salam Yakubu beleives Nana Yaw Amponsah is the right person for the Chief Executive Officer job at Asante Kotoko.
The former Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential candidate is on the verge of being named as the CEO of the club after the George Amoako led management was dissolved by the new Board of Directors.
The Board is set to hold talks with the renowned administrator today in Accra.
According to Abdul Salam, Mr Amponsah truly deserves to be awarded the CEO job.
“Nana Yaw Amponsah is my brother with so many competences,” he told Kumasi based Light FM.
“He will easily do the Kotoko CEO job and succeed if given the nod.
“Kotoko is a big brand which deserves a person who understands the football philosophy where sponsorships can be attained easily.
“Having the great King Otumfuo and Dr Kwame Kyei on your side is 100 per cent beneficial.
“He will simply do the work if given the opportunity,” he added.
