Organized Corruption At BOST- Kevin Taylor Alleges

US-based Ghanaian journalist, Kevin Taylor, is alleging there is an organized scheme of looting at the Bulk Oil Storage and Transport Company (BOST) with the Managing Director, Edwin Provencal, organizing the dirty money and sharing it with the Jubilee House.

In a broadcast on his “With All Due Respect” podcast, Mr. Taylor also alleges that a son of the Chief of Staff, Frema Osei Opare, has also been stationed at BOST to demand bribes from OMCs which load fuel products at Storage facilities of BOST.

In fact Kelvin revealed the son of the Chief of Staff has been stationed at BOST to facilitate this rot.

According to him, Edwin Provencal has developed a scheme in which he deliberately causes BOST to default in paying back debts to people it does business with, secretly connives with these people and asks them to go to court where judgment debts happen and BOST has to pay more than it originally owed.

After that, Provencal and his conspirators allegedly cream off the extra cash and share, sending some to the Jubilee House.

He claims he has documents proving this and that one example worth highlighting is a recent land litigation between BOST and a land owner which resulted in US$ 5 million extra money in judgment debt that was creamed off.

“In our latest scandal and documents in our possession shows that Edwin Provençal has consistently used tactical means through the court to milk BOST through dubious judgment debt payments where he, in turn, receives his share and kickbacks. In one instance, a land that was sold to BOST for 5 million dollars jumped to 9 million dollars when the matter went to court,” Mr. Taylor said.

“What Edwin Provençal does is that he always connive with complainants to steal from Ghana. In the land issue raised above, BOST made an initial payment of 3 million dollars to the land owner before delaying to pay the remaining 2 million dollars.”

According to him, he gathered that Edwin Provençal went into a secret Agreement with the land owner to take BOST to court, have their accounts frozen and asks for a 5 Million dollars payment even though the land owners has already been paid 3 million dollars.

“Once the account of BOST gets frozen, they are forced to pay the 5 million dollars to the complainant and the complainant takes 2 million out of the 5 million to add up to what was initially paid and the remaining 3 million dollars from the 5 million dollars goes to the MD of BOST Edwin Provençal. Edwin Provençal then disburses these monies to the Flagstaff house where the Chief Of Staff Staff Akosua Frema Opare get her share; Akufo Addo the President gets his share including Gabby Otchere Darko cousin of the President,” Taylor said in the damning revelation.
