Breaking the 8 – NPP Elects Juju Man As Chairman

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency branch at the Nsuta-Kwaman Beposo constituency has elected a voodoo high priest as its Chairman in its quest to break the eight-year power rotation cycle in Ghana.

Nana Kwame Antwi, the fetish priest, was undertaking some voodoo rites with other juju men at a shrine when he was called and informed of his victory according to reports.

The announcement is said to have led to more incantations and libations to the gods for beginning the daunting task of “breaking the 8” with his election.

Nana Kwame Antwi polled 267 votes to beat his closest contender, Mr. Abel Anokye with a nine (9) vote margin. Mr. Anokye polled 258 votes.

Two other contenders within the race, Mr. Charles Aduse-Poku, and Mr. Ahmed Yussif secured 43 and 9 votes respectively.

The new NPP Nana Chairman for Nsuta-Kwaman Beposo has asked the party to unite and that breaking the 8 is very possible with unity.
