Ken Agyapong Vows To Impoverish Zongo Community Of His Constituency

Assin Central MP, Ken Agyapong, has vowed that so long as he remains MP, a part of his constituency where he always loses votes will never see development.

That part of the Constituency, he said is an Islamic Community in his constituency called Fosu Zongo.

“As I sit here, I have vowed that there will never be any development in Fosu Zongo. The people living there always cast useless votes. They do not vote for me,” the MP said in Twi on his own TV station, Net 2.

He also disparaged these constituents as hooligans who like rowdiness and hooliganism.

“Usually, I am not all that pained by their refusal to vote for me. What annoys me the most is their rowdiness. They love to engage in fights. I am not afraid of them”, he explained.

Mr. Agyapong also expressed anger at the Akufo-Addo government over the government’s supposed development of areas in the country where the voters do not vote for the NPP, implying the Volta Region instead of the Central Region where the NPP gets massive votes.

Consequently, Ken Agyapong warned Roads Minister, Kwasi Amoako Atta that he will soon lead a demonstration against him for road projects into these “unfriendly” parts of the country.

Meanwhile, Ken Agyapong has revealed that he recently assisted many NPP voters into the Police and that when those wishing to go to Police came to him, he listed them and carefully canceled out the names of people from places where he lost votes.
