Foul-Mouthed Abronye Wants Dampare Out After His Arrest For Coup Mongering

The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe, alias Abronye DC, has claimed that the current Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo-Danpare, is a misfit for the job.

In an interview he granted after he was bailed from police cells over his mongering coup d’état, he claimed that to him, the better person for the job was DCOP Nathan Kofi Boakye and not Dr. Danpare.

“I didn’t support this IGP because I see him as incompetent due to his handling of late JB Danquah Adu’s murder case,” Abronye said on Asempa FM.

And then on Angel FM, he said, “Kofi Boakye… ooh he is qualified to be IGP… He is a perfect gentleman. He is a fine man…. Go to law school and see. Out of 7 courses, he topped all. He is good just the talking that it doesn’t go well but come to the writing and see.”

Abronye’s tantrum is coming after he was made to spend a day in jail for claiming that former President John Mahama was plotting to stage a coup d’état in Ghana.

Later he was put before court on Wednesday and charged with publication of false news, offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace.

Yet, a youth activist, Oliver Barker-Vormawor who had made a less damning remark about the word “coup” has been refused bail and is standing trial for what the police claim is a treason felony.

Meanwhile, immediately Abronye was granted bail, he announced that he was going to begin a personal vendetta against the IGP whom he claims got him arrested because of his refusal to support the IGP.

He alleged that the current Inspector-General of Police (IGP) caused his arrest to settle personal scores because he exposed the IGP’s incompetent handling of the murder investigation involving late MP for Abuakwa J.B Danquah Adu.
