A resident of Kwame Nkran, a farming community in the Asunafo district of the Ahafo Region, Kwame Capo, is on the run from the Police allegedly with blood on his hands.
On Thursday, he murdered his 32-year-old wife, Gifty and then went into hiding.
The Ahafo regional police command has since declared him wanted.
Gifty was nursing a six-month-old baby when her husband shot her dead after an argument.
According to reports, Gifty had threatened to divorce Kwame Capo and that threat triggered the murder. He picked a gun, aimed it at the wife and fired.
The sound of the gun attracted the attention of residents of the town and when they rushed to verify, they saw Gifty lying dead in a pool of blood.
Her body has since been conveyed to Goaso government hospital for autopsy.
