Angry Soldiers Pull down Akufo-Addo’s Billboard at Kpeletsoo

A billboard hosting the photograph of President Akufo-Addo has been pulled down by angry soldiers at Kpeletsoo in the Greater Accra Region.

The billboard which also held words of appreciation to the President for allegedly returning Kpeletsoo lands to the people of La was dismantled by what appears to be a detachment of Military officers from the Teshie Military barracks.

Video footage of the demolition captures the soldiers breaking down the huge billboard amidst a cacophony of voices from civilians standing around and observing events.

One civilian is heard yelling in Ga that, ”They are about to pull down Akufo-Addo, they are about to bring down Akufo-Addo.”

It is not very clear what the underlying issues are however, it appears that the land in question is under dispute.

The billboard which was pulled down also contained the words, “Thank you President Akufo-Addo dor releasing Kpeletsoo lands to the people of La.”
