JUBILEE HOUSE SECURITY MAN ARRESTED FOR FRAUD

A security attache to the Jubilee House, Isaac Oppong has been arrested for a recruitment scam and taking money from people.

The police inspector at the presidency reportedly fleeces unsuspecting victims of huge sums under the guise of securing enlistment for them in the security services.

The suspect currently in police custody skims off between GHS3,500 and GHS7,000 from each of his victims.

Police investigators who received complaints from some of the victims tracked some of them to the Police Hospital and identified nine (9) of them.

It is unclear if these recruits had been absorbed into the police service or were simply impersonating legitimate police officers.

During interrogations, the scammed clients of Inspector Oppong confirmed that they paid the amounts to the mastermind of the recruitment scam who promised to use his influence at the Jubilee House to get them through all necessary processes to enlistment.
