EC Unveils Calendar For The 2020 Election

There are four major activities on the Electoral Commission’s calendar of activities for the 2020 election before the actual voting on the 7^th of December, 2020.

Whatsup News gathered that the Commission will exhibit the register in September, Transfer votes in October and distribute copies of the register to all political parties in November.

The EC will then hold special voting on the first day of December.

The exhibition of the register will be held from the 11^th to the 18^th of September, 2020. The Commission will then undertake the transfer of votes from the 24^th to the 26^th of October.

On the 6^th of November, 2020 the EC will distribute copies of the voters register to all the political parties and then hold special voting for critical service providers like the Police and the Military on the 1^st of December 2020.

Then on the 7^th of December, 2020 the general public will vote in the Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
