Ghana captain Andre Ayew leads in player rating at Championship side Swansea City.
The Swansea City attacker had 7.9 rating from statistics experts whoscored.com’s latest computations for the 2019/20 English Championship.
Andre Ayew has been in sparkling form for the Swans, netting 12 goals and creating five assists to lead the club’s scoring table this season.
His involvement in 17 of Swansea’s 46 goals set him apart from the rest, helping the South Welsh club to a further 17 points.
Without Ayew’s goals Swansea would have amassed only 36 points and five points adrift of safety.
The former West Ham forward’s excellent form has seen him named man-of-the-match in seven of his 34 league starts and only Eberechi Eze (nine) has won more in the Championship this season.
Notably Ayew didn’t make his first league start of the season until the fourth game of the campaign, where Swansea travelled to QPR and secured a 3-1 win, marking the first of the attacker’s star man awards.
The experienced forward is also the third most fouled player in the championship, having been impeded 77 times this season.
