Share the post "Mahama Donates GHC50,000 PPE, Meningitis Drugs to Upper West"
Ex-President John Dramani Mahama has donated medical supplies worth more than GHC50,000 towards the fight against the deadly duo of Cerebrospinal Meningitis (CSM) and Covid-19 in the Upper West Region.
The donation includes boxes of anti meningitis cerium and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
The Upper West Region currently battling a drvastating outbreak of CSM which has infected 214 people and killed 33 in the last three months.
The region has also recorded one case of COVID-19.
A former member of the Council of State, Edward Dr Geder, the Upper West Regional Chairman of the NDC, Mohammed Nasir Saani, the NDC’s Wa East parliamentary candidate, Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw and other NDC members presented the donation to the Upper West Regional Director of Health Services, Dr Osei Kuffuor Affreh at a short ceremony at Wa today, 9th April 2020.
This latest donation is part of a donation spree by the ex-President across the country.
