Used clothes dealers have donated Ghc300,000 to the Covid-19 Trust Fund set up by Government to help mobilize money to fund Ghana’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Ghana used Clothes Dealers Association, presented the donation in the form of a cheque at the Jubilee House to Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Opare on Thursday.
Chairman, Boakye Yiadom and executive members of the association, after presenting the cheque, were confident the money will be put to good use to bring relief to the vulnerable.
He praised President Akufo-Addo over the way he has directed the country’s response to the virus so far.
The Covid-19 Trust Fund which has former Chief Justice, Sophia Akuffo, as lead Trustee, has so far received at least Ghc4million from the donating public.
