Ghana crosses 200 Mark with Covid-19, Records 204 Cases

Ghana has crossed the 200 case mark to 204 for the number of officially recorded Covid-19 coronavirus patients in the country.
The Ghana Health Services (GHS) says it has recorded nine more cases to add up to the 195 that was the previous number.
Incidentally, all the new cases were recorded in the Greater Accra Region which is Ghana’s biggest epicentre currently with 183 of the total recorded cases.
The Ghana Health Service in its web updates said, four of the new cases have no travel history but are contacts of confirmed cases.
One returned to Ghana from Beijing, China within the past 14 days.
Of the 16 Regions in the country, five have so far recorded cases with Greater Accra Region leading the park with the highest number. The Ashanti Regions in next.
Also, the Northern, Upper West and Eastern Regions have recorded cases.
The Northern region has 10, Ashanti, 9, Upper West, 1 and Eastern, 1.
The global numbers show that almost one million people (987,000) have so far been infected with Covid-19 and over 50,000 have died so far from a disease that originated in December 2019 from Wuhan-China.
