Seasoned South African referee Victor Gomes to will head the delegation of match officials for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Sudan and Ghana.
This match will be played at the El Hilal Stadium in Omdurman on March 30, 2020.
Gomes will be assisted by seasoned Zakhele Siwela as 1st Assistant Referee and A.II Athenkosi Ndongeni fromSouth Africa as 2nd Assistant Referee.
The fourth official for this potentially mouth-watering encounter will be another South African R.R Eugine Nkosinathi Mdluli.

Referee Gomes officiated the Black Stars 2019 AFCON Round of 16 loss against Tunisia in Egypt.

Gomes was approached to fix the first leg play-off encounter between Nigeria’s Plateau United and Algeria’s USM Alger.
Plateau went on to win the encounter 2-1.
