Ken Agyapong in Latest Ran Implicates Self In J.B Danquah’s Death

The latest rants of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong about the alleged murderers of the late Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Joseph Boakye Danquah has raised disturbing questions on the role he may have played in the whole conspiracy.

Even though Kennedy Agyapong claims he was not particularly close to the murdered parliamentarian, and that he had only spoken to him once for just 10 minutes, he has raised eyebrows about why he was the first parliamentarian to be informed about J.B Danquah’s death when it happened about three years ago.

In the studio of his media outfit Net 2 TV on Wednesday, September 18, 2018 Ken Agyapong summarised his relationship with the late J.B Danquah:  “J.B is my colleague, I don’t have any problem with him, and he is not too close to me. I only admire him. I met him in one of the hotels in London (Mayfair Hotel)…that was the only time we had a conversation for about 10 minutes.”

According to him, at dawn on the day J. B Danquah was killed by an alleged contract killer, an acquaintance called him around 4 am informing him about the incidence, and despite not knowing the residence of the deceased, he quickly drove straight to the diseased house in East Legon. He said as soon as he got to the compound, he started surveying the compound and found a ladder leading to the bedroom of the deceased.

Later, he walked into the living room and the police investigators hinted him that the murder was an inside job, ”The Police told me that it is an inside job,” he narrated, adding how the Police told him that they heard J.B Danquah’s wife, Ivy Heward Mills suspiciously flushing away some unknown substance as the police came in to investigate the case.

Critics have raised questions about the basis of Ken Agyapong being imbedded in the whole investigations despite not being a friend to the deceased. Questions have also been raised why the police were willing to offer him detailed information around the investigation as he claims, if he had no interest in the case.

For the umpteenth time, Kennedy Agyapong has shifted focus on who may be behind the high-profile murder case. During his latest narration, he claimed the suspected culprit in the murder case, one Daniel Asiedu mentioned the name of Stan Xoexe Dogbe, a former Presidential Staffer as being involved. According to Ken Agyapong, ex-President Mahama is also, a Person of interest in the case because the late J. B Danquah was apparently in an amorous relationship with a girl who was also involved with the ex-President.

“One school of thought is that he was chasing a lady whom President Mahama was also chasing and for some reason, he [J.B] Danquah asked the lady to bring the then president’s naked pictures,” Ken Agyapong explained.

The Assin Central MP was forced to explain himself following Kevin Taylor, the host of the controversial online political satire show “With All Due Respect” accusing him of being involved in J.B Danquah’s death.

Earlier, Kennedy Agyapong had fingered investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas as a prime suspect in the murder because he was in an amorous affair with J.B Danquah’s wife and the two may have planned the murder.

In his latest narration, Ken Agyapong who is also a suspect in the case claims he only went into the living room of the late parliamentarians and that the police investigators told him that J.B Danquah’s wife had locked herself up in her room upstairs.

However, in an earlier narration on UTV, Ken Agyapong said he had been invited to the crime scene by some police officers and when he got there, he saw a blood-stained nigh-gown presumably belonging to the wife of the deceased.

These two narrations are directly contradictory as his frantic narrations whip up more questions about his involvement than answers

Meanwhile, Ken Agyapong is part of seven other persons the widow of J.B Danquah has sued in connection with the gruesome murder.
