American rapper Kanye West after years of campaigning to be part of Forbes Annual Billionaire list of billionaires has finally gotten his name up there.
According to Forbes the rapper and fashion designer is worth $1.3bn after his huge stake in Yeezy and vast land ownership is revealed but Kanye claims sum is closer to $3.3bn
West follows sister-in-law Kylie Jenner, 22, who was named by Forbes as the youngest ‘self-made’ billionaire for the SECOND year in a row.
According to reports from Forbes claim Kanye West was unhappy when his name was left out of the annual list earlier this month, which included Kylie.
He reportedly already displeased with the article, alleging that his net worth is actually closer to $3.3 billion.
He is alleged to have texted the Forbes journalist Thursday evening saying: “It’s $3.3 billion since no one at Forbes knows how to count”
