Kofi B Supposed Autopsy Pops Online

A supposed autopsy report of popular musician Eric Boakye (aka Kofi B) is making the rounds on social media as that of the late Highlife singer who died over the weekend in Cape-Coast.

The autopsy which is on the letterhead and logo of the Cape-Coast Teaching Hospital states the cause of death as heart disease.

Supposedly issued by the Pathology Department of the Hospital, the autopsy states that the deceased was a hypertension patient for two years in the lead up to his death on Sunday.

Many on social media are remonstrating over the supposed autopsy report with Kofi B’s family reportedly stating that they never knew their son was sick. However, Whatsup News has cause to be cautious about this autopsy report on heart disease.

Meanwhile, one Dr. Humadey who supposedly signed the autopsy report writes that ‘Patient is a known hypertensive of two years duration. He started coughing with chest pains at dawn and was rushed to Abease Dominase health centre where he was seen to be sweating profusely and was given some medication…but did not improve his health and died at 3:42 am and was brought for post mortem.’

Kofi Boakye Yiadom, died suddenly on Sunday after performing at a concert in Cape Coast, the Central regional capital.

The man who goes by the stage name ‘Kofi B’ is said to have suddenly fallen ill in the lead up to the tragedy which happened at 3 am.

In what appears to be a case of cardiac arrest, he is said to have started complaining of chest pains and abnormal palpitation immediately after dismounting the stage he had performed on.

Kofi Nti, fellow musician and long-time friend recounts that he was rushed to a hospital in the Central regional capital but had been restless and puking, amidst difficulty in breathing by the time he reached doctors. As part of an emergency response doctors are said to have put him under oxygen.

His blood pressure was also said to be very high at 150/120. In spite of the best efforts by doctors, the “Mmoborowa” singer is said to have died at 3 am yesterday.
