Mahama Promises Electoral Vigilance and Economic Revival with 24-Hour Economy Initiative”

In a bid to ensure electoral integrity and economic revival, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Mahama, has pledged to rectify any errors made by the Electoral Commission (EC) during the upcoming December 7 elections.

Emphasizing the need for transparent and credible elections, Mahama highlighted the party’s preparedness to monitor the EC’s operations meticulously.

During a live social media session on Monday, Mahama expressed confidence in the NDC’s ability to monitor the electoral process and safeguard the integrity of the voting system.

Mahama outlined the party’s plans to recruit competent agents across the country to prevent any irregularities in the election.

He also emphasized the importance of protecting the votes of all citizens, and promised a transparent and credible electoral process.

Amid concerns surrounding Ghana’s economic stability, Mahama expressed his commitment to reviving the economy if elected, promising investigations into the collapse of local banks and businesses during President Akufo-Addo’s tenure.

Notable figures affected by these actions, including Dr. Paapa Kwasi Nduom, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, Kofi Amoabeng, and Alhaji Agongo, are set to undergo scrutiny for possible restitution.

Furthermore, Mahama unveiled his flagship policy, the 24-hour economy initiative, aimed at addressing unemployment challenges.

The initiative proposes a shift from the traditional 8-hour work system to a dynamic 24-hour operational model across various sectors, promising increased job opportunities and economic growth.

Mahama’s comprehensive approach to governance, focusing on electoral accountability, economic recovery, and innovative economic policies, positions the NDC as a formidable force in shaping Ghana’s future trajectory.
