In a shocking turn of events, former New Patriotic Party (NPP) member, Hopeson Adorye, has made a confession on live radio that he wronged former President John Dramani during his time in office.
Adorye, who was once a close ally of current President Akufo-Addo, admitted that he played a part in tarnishing Mahama’s reputation unjustly.
During an interview on Accra FM’s ‘Citizen Show’, Adorye expressed deep regret for his actions, acknowledging that Mahama is a better leader than Akufo-Addo.
He vowed to kneel down and publicly apologize to Mahama by November 2024 for the harm he caused. Despite potential backlash, Adorye remains steadfast in his decision, declaring that no one can intimidate him.
Having been instrumental in bringing Akufo-Addo to power, Adorye’s change of heart comes as a surprise to many. He emphasized that his past loyalty to the current government does not excuse his mistreatment of Mahama.
With a resolute spirit, Adorye is determined to make amends for his past actions and seek forgiveness from the former president.
